Hi, I’m Natalie :)
I work with adults who feel like they're constantly holding it all together. My approach is collaborative and non-pathologizing. I draw on acceptance-based and trauma-informed frameworks, and I believe the most effective therapy happens when you feel genuinely understood — not just assessed. Sessions feel like real conversation: thoughtful, grounded, and tailored to you.
My path to becoming a therapist was anything but direct, and I've come to believe that's one of my greatest clinical assets. Before training as a psychotherapist, I completed clinical rotations in ICUs, acute care rehabilitation centers, palliative care, and specialty multidisciplinary outpatient clinics serving people with complex conditions including cancer, ALS, Parkinson's disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders. Today, I continue to practice as a cognitive speech-language pathologist while also providing psychotherapy, working with individuals navigating neurodivergence, brain fog, and cognitive changes. Across both professions, I've had the privilege of sitting with people on some of the hardest days of their lives. Those experiences have given me a deep respect for the weight people carry and a lasting belief that everyone deserves a space where they don't have to carry it alone.
Sessions with me tend to feel like real conversation; warm, a little irreverent, never one-size-fits-all. We won’t just talk in circles. I’ll help you dig deep and get to the root of the issue. In psychotherapy, we’ll use evidence-based and trauma-focused therapies, like CBT, DBT, and ACT, to heal your nervous system — at your pace, in tune with your needs. In cognitive-linguistic therapy we’ll use rehabilitation approaches with evidentiary bases including APT-informed exercises, metacognitive, and functional approaches to recovery.
If you're tired of trying harder and ready to try something different, I'd love to connect.
